Vancouver aims to approve 83,000 new homes in the next decade, a 15% increase from previous targets. The plan includes 74% of new homes for renters, 15,500 below-market rate homes, and 40% for families. The Three-year Action Plan (2024-2026) will focus on creating an Official Development Plan, increasing density near transit, allowing social housing in all neighborhoods, and developing various types of housing on city-owned sites.
